DRIVEN ROLLERS – LP.MI1C AND
LP.MI2C SERIES
Use:
for carriers where the rollers require mechanical
operation for rotation and where the entire length is
utilised.
Characteristics:
steel rollers assembled on rigid radial single ball bearings.
Movement is chain driven with sprocket teeth (pinion), welded to one end of the
tube. Available in both the simple version LP. MI1C or double LP.MI2C.
In the first case it is created with a tangential chain; in the second with roller
chain links. In driven rollers of the MI series, the diameter of the roller is
always superior to the dimensions of the chain that puts the motor in gear. The
position of the rolling elements is obtained from the sprocket hub, so that an
improved reaction to the gear transmission is possible. The choice of the gear,
simple or double, is made by calculating the reaction of the roller capacity,
the power to be transmitted, and the breaking load of the chain. The versions that
may be supplied with this mechanism are those of the LP series.
